GenOx Receives Fleet Safety Excellence Award

Genox Transportation has just received the Compressed Gas Associations prestigious “Fleet Safety Excellence Award” for 2013. The award is sponsored by Praxair, Inc. This coveted award was presented to Genox by Scott Kaltrider, President of Praxair Distribution Inc. The Fleet Safety Excellence award was presented at the recent 101st annual meeting of the Compressed Gas Association in St. Augustine, FL.

“This is truly a great honor to receive this award” said Kevin Mathews, CEO of Genox-who picked up the award along with his father, Russ Mathews, Chairman of Genox. “This award really is a reflection of the hard work and attention to detail of our entire team".

Mathews acknowledges that it is truly a team effort. “Whether it is the drivers we work with, our incredible Operations team and of course, our second-to-none Maintenance and Safety team, this really is a great honor and is the kind of industry recognition we can all be very proud of.”

The awards were created in 1988 to recognize outstanding safety performance among the industry’s bulk and cylinder truck delivery fleets.
